Register Your Party

Instructions
1. You must register your party within 24 hours of receiving your kit!!
2. Begin to Pray for your neighbors and your party.
3. March 14: Fill out your flyers with all information / Pass out Invitations / Invite Your Neighbors.
- Don’t just drop them in mailboxes
- Knock on doors and have a conversation (be excited)!
- Communicate 3 things: “Having a Party” “Here’s Where” “Here’s Why!”
4. Week of March 21:
Be outside Often & Interact with Neighbors
- Put your “Yard Sign” out at the Party Location
- Encourage Neighbors to be Collecting Cans
- Follow up with anyone who has not RSVP’d
- Reply to anyone who has e-mailed or called you & remind them
Plan your Party
- Make sure you have music of some kind (it makes a huge difference)! Suggested Playlist (not all Christian music is best): Jack Johnson, Chris Daughtry, David Cook, The Fray, Jordan Sparks, U2, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, etc. (just use wisdom and have fun!)
- Get your Supplies: Plates, Cups, Napkins, Utensils, Meat, Buns, Side Dishes, Chips, Dessert, Condiments, Propane (if grilling), Ice, Drinks (please do not provide alcohol, but don’t prevent someone from bringing it unless it violates the rules of your home).
- If the party is at your house, be sure to clean up your home (inside & out)!
- Have boxes ready to Collect Cans.
5. Day of the Party, March 22-27:
- Set up for your party 2 hours before it begins (turn on music, create buffet line, put out NLC Invitation Cards, Set boxes out for cans, etc.)
- As your guests arrive, have them fill out the sign-in sheet with all of their information.
- During the party: Have a great time, get to know your neighbors, Take 5 minutes when people are finishing up their meal and say 4 things:
1. Thank them for coming
2. Explain the Vision for Why Next Level Church wanted to do this.
3. Talk about the goal and if your block party hasn’t raised 125 cans, then jokingly encourage them to go home and
get more cans.
4. Let them know you have information cards, and invite them to come to church with you tomorrow (tell them what
service you go to) and see what 15,625 cans looks like!!!
