Next Level Church
Friday, May 18, 2012
Sarah Keller grew up as a PK (Pastor’s Kid) in the small town of Auburn, Indiana.  She married her high-school sweetheart Matt Keller (lead pastor of NLC) in 1996 and while finishing college, they began their ministry together! Matt and Sarah directed a campground and traveled throughout the United States while Matt was the National Youth Director for a non-denominational fellowship of churches (1999-2001).

In 2002, Matt and Sarah moved to Fort Myers with their one-year old son Will, $9,000 and a dream to plant a church that was different than they had ever seen.  Sarah jumped in with both feet, doing “whatever it takes” to get the church up and running! Next Level Church had its first service on Mother’s Day in May of 2002 and Sarah gave birth to their second son Drew exactly one year later on Mother’s Day!

Sarah has served alongside Matt every step of the way.  From running bulletins, to being on the worship team, to scheduling volunteers and learning graphic design...she has always had a “we will figure this out” attitude! She currently serves on the Directional Team and leads in various areas at NLC.  One “skill” that Sarah has under her belt is her ability to sing painfully out of tune at will at any given moment.  Her specialty is the oldie but goodie “Shout to the Lord” in a key somewhere between F# and A, we’re not exactly sure!
