Sam McDowell leads all of Next Level Church's corporate weekend worship environments and all special worship events. He is responsible for supporting the vision of the Worship Director and for collaborating with the Worship Director to build, disciple, and cast vision to the NLC Worship Team.
Fondly known as Big Bird around the Next Level offices, Sam was serving the vision of Next Level for years before joining the staff as Worship Leader in March of 2012. After graduating high school in 2010, Sam knew Next Level was where he wanted to be and what he wanted to do. Not only is Next Level where Sam met his wife, Elizabeth McDowell (who also serves on NLC Worship), but it is also home to Sam’s closest friends and to the mentors that Sam counts as so valuable in his life.
Sam is passionate about leading in the worship world. He feels blessed to be fulfilling the Lord's calling on his life while serving both Pastor Matt and the NLC Worship Director (and Sam's best friend), Luis Quintero.
