Mike Ash was an intricate part of planting Next Level Church in 2002, and continues to serve on the directional team.  Mike has seen the church grow from 4 to well over 1,500 people.  1,500 is also about the number of hugs Mike gives out each weekend, an expert at walking slowly through the crowd. 

     He is passionate about working out and staying healthy yet he is what doctors like to call “skinny fat,” because although an avid runner, he refuses to give up his late night routine of enjoying a big bowl of cookie dough ice cream before bed.  A genius of sorts when it comes to relationships, Mike is a great team builder as well as a strong advocate of marriages and families, having been known to fight alongside those who are struggling. 

     He’s not the visioneer of the church but he’s been known to consistently make the vision even better.  One of the most compassionate and authentic people you will ever meet, Mike was wearing Toms shoes before anyone even knew they were cool.  He chooses Superman as his favorite superhero any day of the week because “he has like every super power…well, except turning invisible.”  His other favorite superhero is his wife Leanne, who is an amazing mother of their two boys, Karston and Bryden.
